Sii.
I had the honour of addressing you on 7 March 1896.
I was expecting your reply before forwarding a claim to the Colonial Office of Hong Kong regarding the salary represented by the draft drawn by me from the General Post Office.
I was on leave from January 1878 and was granted 160 days of leave with pay.
I do submit a claim to the favourable consideration of the Colonial Government.
Should it be considered favourably, I would be glad if you could forward the necessary vouchers to the D. G. de Rooke, under your authority, who will present the letter constituting the claim.
